Students Gave Colorful Presentations in the Annual Function and Prize Distribution Ceremony

Nawalgarh - Annual Function (Dharohar-2K24) and Prize Distribution ceremony was organized at Podar College which is run by the Anandilal Podar Trust, Nawalgarh.
Shri Narendra Kumar, MP, Jhunjhunu was as the chief guest in it.
Special guests were district head ( jila parmukh) Harshini Kulhari,Birbal Singh Godara, Director Sarasvati School,Dr. Dayashankar Jangid, Ashok Kumar Sharma, C.B.E.O., Nawalgarh, Hariram Kaler (Ex.A. En.), Nawalgarh, Kailash Chotia, Vice President Municipal Board, Nawalgarh,M.D. Shanbhag, Executive Director of Podar Trust,Dr. Rajendra Kumar, COO of Podar Trust, Lakharam, S.D.M., Nawalgarh,Dr. Shravan Saini,Shrikant Murarka and Dr. K.D. Yadav.
The function was presided over by Prof. M.C. Malu, Secretary, Podar Trust.
The program started with garlanding and lighting of lamp in front of the statue of goddess Saraswati.
After this, the honorable guests were welcomed by garlanding them. Thereafter, Rupal Jangid gave a cultural presentation on Ganesh Vandana. Saraswati Vandana was presented by Manisha and her team.

Podar College Principal, Dr. Satyendra Singh welcomed all the guests, parents and students presented on the occasion of the annual function of Podar College. He said that Podar College is going to start many new professional courses from the next session, so that students will not have to go elsewhere for studies.
Program coordinator and Vice-Principal, Dr. Vinod Kumar Saini said that the “NAAC” team of Podar College was honoured by Sanjeevani Society, in which I.Q.A.C. Coordinator, Dr. Vinod Kumar Saini, co-coordinator, Prof. Chetan Dadhich were awarded including all the Criteria Coordinators and Co-Coordinators.
He told that on this occasion BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA topper students, M.A., M.Sc., M.Com topper students, Students of Sports and Athletics, Cultural Activities, Co-Curricular Activities, the best volunteers of NSS, N.C.C., Scouts and Guides were honored by presenting certificates and mementoes.
On this occasion, District Head Harshini Kulhari, while addressing the students, said that the students of Podar College who have placed at the university level are a source of inspiration for all other students, hence we should learn from them and move ahead. It is a matter of pride for Shekhawati that Seth G. B. Podar College, Nawalgarh is the first and only one NAAC “A” grade college in Shekhawati University.
Jhunjhunu MP Narendra Kumar said that the land of Shekhawati is the land of heroes and Bhamashahs, from before independence till today, Podar Trust has provided education to Shekhawati, due to which today our Jhunjhunu district is at the forefront in education.
In-charge of cultural committee, Prof. Vishakha Pankhiya told that the students of Podar College Nawalgarh and Podar T.T. College students gave captivating presentations on Rajasthani folk dance, Phagun dance etc. Shekhawati folk dance, Haryanvi folk dance, Rajasthani folk dance, Bollywood dance, Kathak dance, Luv-Kush drama, Kalbelia dance were special attractions of the function. On this occasion, Podar G.P. S students Aarav and Group gave a tremendous presentation on the song 'Le Ke Prabhu Ka Naam'.
On this occasion Major D.P. Sharma, Murli Manohar Chaubdar, Mohanlal Churiwal, Manoj Yadav (Prerna School Nawalgarh), Sanjay Sharma (Seva Jyoti Nawalgarh), Priyanka Chaukhani, Ravindra Purohit, Rajkumar Sharma, Kuldeep Poonia and many educationists, entrepreneurs, social workers and dignitaries were present. A large number of parents and hundreds of students were present on this occasion.
Prof. M.C.Malu who is presiding over the program said that since 1942, Podar College has been working to provide better education to the students in the field of higher education and students in defence, medical, research and administrative services in the country are bringing glory to Podar College and the region.
In the program B.Ed. College, Principal Dr. Durga Bhojak, Vice-Principal Dr. Anil Sharma, Podar G.P. S Principal Jean C.K., Podar I.T.I. Principal S.S. Bakshi, Podar G.P.S. Berry Principal Rejula Devasi, Tiny Toddler Principal Premlata, Podar Hindi Medium Principal Dr. Pooja Panwar and all the heads of departments and lecturers were present.
The program was conducted by Geography Department Head Prof. Shantilal Joshi and Dr. Anil Sharma.
Program coordinator Dr. Vinod Kumar Saini thanked all the guests, parents, students, media persons, distinguished citizens and all those who contributed directly and indirectly in making the program successful.
The ceremony ended with the national anthem.
