हमारे देश भारत का राष्ट्रीय पर्व स्वन्त्रता दिवस हर भारतीय नागरिक बड़े ही उल्लास व उत्साह से मनाता है। इस बार भी सभी भारतीय इस पर्व को मनाने के लिए तैयार हैं।

  इसी कड़ी में देशभक्ति के ज़ज़्बे से ओत-प्रोत इस पर्व पर भारत के सच्चे देशभक्तों के योगदान को याद करते हुए कुमकुम भाग्य की मुग्धा चाफेकर और पूजा बैनर्जी, भाग्य लक्ष्मी के रोहित सुचंती, कुर्बान हुआ की प्रतिभा रांटा और क्यों रिश्तों में कट्टी बट्टी के सिद्धांत वीर सूर्यवंशी ने अपने बचपन से जुड़ी स्वतंत्रता दिवस की कुछ यादें ताजा कीं और अपनी जिंदगी में इस दिन के महत्व के बारे में भी बताया...

ज़ी टीवी के कुमकुम भाग्य में प्राची का रोल निभा रहीं मुग्धा चाफेकर ने कहा, ‘‘आजादी और आत्मनिर्भरता इंसानी जज्बे की सबसे गहरी और सबसे नेक इच्छाएं हैं। मुझे लगता है कि भारतीय होने के नाते यह बात हमसे बेहतर कोई नहीं समझ सकता कि हमारे लिए इस दिन की क्या अहमियत है। हमने जिस तरह आजादी के लिए संघर्ष किया, मुझे लगता है कि यह पूरी दुनिया में अपने आप में एक मिसाल है। हम वाकई भाग्यशाली हैं कि हमने भारत जैसे समृद्ध इतिहास वाली भूमि में जन्म लिया। भारतीय इतिहास में गहरी रूचि रखने के नाते मुझे लगता है कि मुझे आजादी की लड़ाई से जुड़ी हर बात से प्यार है। मैं भारतीय इतिहास के लिए अपने जुनून के लिए जानी जाती हूं और शायद इसीलिए जब भी कोई आजादी की लड़ाई को लेकर बात करता है, तो मेरा दिल थम-सा जाता है और मन में ‘जन गण मन‘ गूंज उठता है। चूंकि अपनी विरासत को संजोकर रखना हमारा कर्तव्य है, तो अब वक्त आ गया है जब हम अपने पूर्वजों द्वारा हमारे लिए छोड़ी गई चीजों की कद्र करें। लोगों को शिक्षित करके ही हम अपने पुरखों को श्रद्धांजलि दे सकते हैं। इस खास दिन मैं आप सभी को स्वतंत्रता दिवस की शुभकामनाएं देना चाहती हूं।‘‘

ज़ी टीवी के भाग्य लक्ष्मी में ऋषि ओबेरॉय का रोल निभा रहे रोहित सुचंती कहते हैं, ‘‘मुझे लगता है कि हम भारतीयों को अपने पुरखों का आशीर्वाद मिला है, जो हमारे लिए एक ऐसा देश छोड़ गए, जिसका गौरवशाली इतिहास है और जहां दिल छू लेने वाले बलिदानों की दास्तान है। बचपन में हम अपने परिवार और दोस्तों के साथ यह खास दिन मनाने का इंतजार करते थे। असल में इंडिपेंडेंस डे पर हमारे स्कूल की छुट्टी होती थी, इसलिए हम इससे एक दिन पहले ही झंडा वंदन समारोह में हिस्सा लेते थे। 15 अगस्त को मेरे डैड हमें एक जगह बैठाकर पेपर के झंडे बनाने और उन्हें तिरंगे के रंग में रंगने को कहते थे।हमें वाकई बहुत गर्व होता था, जब हम वो झंडे बाहर ले जाकर अपने आसपास लोगों में बांटते थे। इस खास दिन से जुड़ी मेरी बहुत-सी अच्छी यादें हैं और मैं चाहता हूं कि इस साल इंडिपेंडेंस डे पर सभी को बढ़िया अनुभव मिले और वो कुछ अच्छी यादें बना सकें।‘‘

ज़ी टीवी के कुमकुम भाग्य में रिया का रोल निभा रहीं पूजा बैनर्जी कहती हैं, ‘‘बचपन से ही इंडिपेंडेंस डे मुझमें देशभक्ति का भाव जगाता रहा है। मुझे याद है किस तरह हम हर साल इस खास दिन को सेलिब्रेट करते थे। हम सुबह जल्दी तैयार होकर स्कूल जाते थे, जहां एक बड़ा समारोह होता था। झंडा वंदन कार्यक्रम के बाद डांस परफॉर्मेंस और कुछ देशभक्ति गीतों की प्रस्तुति होती थी, जहां हर साल मैं और मेरे दोस्त इस शानदार समारोह में हिस्सा लेते थे। मुझे लगता है कि कॉलेज के दिनों से ही हम ऐसे समारोह से दूर हो गए, लेकिन मैं अब भी कुछ वक्त निकालकर पुरानी यादों में झांकती हूं। इंडिपेंडेंस डे पर मैं अपने देश के लिए प्रार्थना भी करती हूं। वो इसलिए क्योंकि मैं ‘सारे जहां से अच्छा, हिंदुस्तां हमारा‘ के विचार में यकीन रखता हूं। मैं दुनिया के बहुत-से देशों में गई, लेकिन मैं वाकई ये मानती हूं कि भारत जैसी कोई दूसरी जगह नहीं है। जब मैं भारत लौटकर आती हूं तो मन में आजादी का एहसास होता है। मुझे अपने भारतीय होने पर गर्व है और मैं अपने देश की खुशहाली की दुआ मांगती हूं।‘‘

ज़ी टीवी के क्यों रिश्तांे में कट्टी बट्टी में कुलदीप चड्ढा का रोल निभा रहे सिद्धांत वीर सूर्यवंशी कहते हैं, ‘‘15 अगस्त से जुड़ी मेरी सबसे पुरानी याद मेरे स्कूल के दिनों की है। उस समय इंडिपेंडेंस डे का सिर्फ एक ही उत्साह होता था कि इस दिन हमारी छुट्टी होती थी। ये सिलसिला लंबे समय तक चलता रहा। जब मैं बड़ा हुआ और कॉलेज जाने लगा, तब मुझे आजादी का सच्चा मोल पता चला। मुझे अब भी याद है कि हमारे स्कूल में झंडा वंदन कार्यक्रम होता था। बहुत-से साल मैं इस कार्यक्रम से गैरहाजिर रहा और बहुत-से साल मैं इसमें शामिल भी हुआ। लेकिन उस वक्त हम बहुत छोटे थे और झंडा फहराने के बाद हमें उस दिन के महत्व के बारे में सोचने की बजाय अपने दोस्तों से मिलने का इंतजार रहता था। लेकिन कुछ साल पहले मैं अलेसिया (राऊत) और बच्चों को एक झंडा वंदन कार्यक्रम में ले गया, जहां हमारे बच्चों को झंडा फहराने का सम्मान दिया गया था। मैं कहना चाहूंगा कि वो हमारे लिए एक यादगार अनुभव था। एक पिता होने के नाते वो मेरे लिए गर्व भरा पल था। मैं मानता हूं कि सभी को अपने भारतीय होने पर गर्व महसूस करना चाहिए और अपनी आजादी का सही मोल समझना चाहिए। असल में, जहां इस वक्त ओलिंपिक्स में हमारे स्वर्णिम पल की बहुत चर्चा हो रही है, वहीं मैं यह कहना चाहूंगा कि हम भारतीय अभी और भी बहुत कुछ हासिल करने की कगार पर हैं। मैं उम्मीद करता हूं कि इस साल ओलिंपिक में भारत की परफॉर्मेंस से क्रिकेट के अलावा दूसरे खेलों के प्रति भी हमारा नजरिया बदलेगा और स्थितियां बेहतर होंगी। हमें जमीनी स्तर पर उन्हें प्रोत्साहन देना होगा, क्योंकि हम बेहद प्रतिभाशाली देश हैं। मैं उन लोगों को सलाम करता हूं, जिन्होंने इन तमाम परिस्थितियों के बावजूद हमारे लिए मेडल जीता। यह वाकई बहुत बड़ी उपलब्धि है, जो यह साबित करती हैं कि ये लोग कितने प्रतिभाशाली हैं और कितनी शिद्दत से मेडल जीतने की हसरत रखते हैं। इस इंडिपेंडेंस डे पर मैं उम्मीद करता हूं कि हम एक आजाद देश के रूप में ऐसे बहुत-से टैलेंट को आगे बढ़ाएंगे और उनका सम्मान करेंगे।‘‘

ज़ी टीवी के कुर्बान हुआ में चाहत का रोल निभा रहीं प्रतिभा रांटा कहती हैं, ‘‘मेरे लिए स्वतंत्रता दिवस का मतलब है सकारात्मकता और आजादी। मुझे लगता है कि अकेला यही शब्द सभी की जिंदगी में उत्साह और उमंग लेकर आता है। हमारे देश में योद्धाओं का समृद्ध इतिहास रहा है, जिन्होंने इस दिन के लिए लगातार संघर्ष किया। मुझे भारत जैसे देश की नागरिक होने पर बेहद गर्व और खुशी है। अपने स्कूल के दिनों की मेरी कुछ खूबसूरत यादें हैं। चूंकि मैं डांसिंग डिवा थी, तो मैं हर साल इंडिपेंडेंस डे पर झंडा फहराने के बाद परफॉर्म करती थी और इस इवेंट के बाद होने वाले होने वाली प्रतियोगिताओं में भी हिस्सा लेती थी। उस समय यह सब बड़ा मजेदार होता था और मैं वाकई उन दिनों को बहुत याद करती हूं। मेरी ओर से सभी को हैप्पी इंडिपेंडेंस डे।‘‘

Zee TV actors express how important Independence Day is for them

Commemorating the contributions of the Indian patriots, Zee TV actors like Mugdha Chapekar and Pooja Banerjee from Kumkum Bhagya, Rohit Suchanti from Bhagya Lakshmi, Pratibha Ranta from Qurbaan Hua and Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi from Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti, share memories of Independence Day back from their childhood, while also speaking about the importance the day holds in their lives.

Mugdha Chaphekar who plays the role of Prachi in Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya mentions, “Freedom and Independence is the deepest and the noblest aspiration of human spirit and I think being Indians no one knows it better than us what value this day holds for us. The kind of freedom struggle we have had, I think it’s just one of its kind in the whole world. We are genuinely fortunate to be born in a land of such rich history like India. Also, being an ardent follower and lover of Indian history, I think I’m in love with everything that relates to our freedom struggle. I am known for having this obsession for Indian history and maybe that’s why whenever someone says something about the freedom struggle, my heart skips a beat and Jana Gana Mana just starts playing in my mind. And since it’s our duty to keep our heritage intact, its high time we start valuing what our ancestors have left us with, and only by educating our people we can pay tribute to our forefathers. On this special day, I would like to wish you all a very Happy Independence Day.”

Rohit Suchanti who plays the role of Rishi Oberoi in Zee TV’s Bhagya Lakshmi adds, “I think we Indians are blessed with great ancestors who left us with a country with an incomparable history of glory and heartwarming sacrifices. As a child, I used to wait to celebrate this special day with my friends and family. In fact, our school used to be closed on Independence Day, so we would participate in the flag hoisting ceremony a day prior to that and on 15th August, my Dad made sure we sat and made paper flags and colored them as our Tiranga. I would actually feel proud when we used to take those flags out and distribute them in our locality. I’ve had some great memories of this special day and I wish everyone has a wonderful experience of Independence Day this year and hopefully, they can create some great memories too.”

Pooja Banerjee who plays the role of Rhea in Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya says, “Since childhood, Independence Day used to evoke a sense of patriotism in me and I remember, how we used to celebrate this special day every year. We used to get ready early in the morning and go to school, where a big event was planned every single year. Flag hoisting was followed by dance performances and singing a few patriotic songs and my friends and me used to participate in this wonderful celebration every single time. Since college days, I guess we've lost touch with such celebrations, but I still remove some time and take a walk down memory lane. I also pray for the nation once on Independence Day. This is because I truly believe in the thought of Sare Jaha se Achha, Hindustan Hamara. I have been to several countries across the world but, I really feel there is no other place like India. There is a sense of freedom that I feel only when I am back home, in India. I am proud of being an Indian and I hope and pray for the best of the country.”

Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi who plays the role of Kuldeep Chaddha in Zee TV’s Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti reveals, “The earliest memory that I have of 15th August is from my school days. The only excitement Independence Day brought in our lives back then was the holiday we got and for the longest period of time it remained that way. Only when I started growing up and attended college that I realized the true value of independence. I still remember there used to be a flag hoisting ceremony in our school and there were years when I skipped it, and years when I attended it. But then again, we were very young and used to look forward to meeting all our friends more and chill after the flag hoisting, than think about the importance of the day. But a couple of years back I took Alesia (Raut) and the kids for a flag hoisting event, and our kids were given the honor of raising the flag and I must say it was a wonderful experience for us and a proud moment for me as a father. I believe everyone should feel proud being Indians and know the true value of our Independence.  In fact, with everyone going gaga about the golden moment we witnessed at Olympics this year, I would say that we are now on the cusp of achieving much more as Indians. I hope that India’s performance in the event this year translates into much better investment and outlook towards sports apart from cricket. The encouragement has to be given at the grassroot level because we are a tremendously talented country and hats off to all the people who won medals for us in spite of all the circumstances they have had to undergo, with limitations at home and in every aspect of the sport, they have still achieved a major thing, which is a tremendous achievement which speaks about how talented these guys are and how driven they are for winning these medals. Hope we can promote more such talents as an Independent nation and honour them this Independence Day.”

Pratibha Ranta who plays the role of Chahat in Zee TV’s Qurbaan Hua mentions, “Independence Day is all about positivity and freedom for me. I feel the word itself brings back an aura of zeal and eagerness in everybody’s life and having a history of warriors who fought relentlessly for this day, I feel really proud and happy to be a citizen of a country like India. I have had fond memories of this day from my school days. As I was the dancing diva, I would perform every year on Independence Day after the flag hoisting ceremony was done and would participate in competitions which were held after the event. It was great fun back then and I really miss those days. Here’s wishing one and  all a very Happy Independence Day.”
