जयपुर (राजस्थान)- 11 जनवरी। भिक्षावृत्ति से रेस्क्यू किये गए भिखारियों को रोजगार के अवसर मुहैया करवाने के लिए जिला प्रशासन सहयोग कर रहा है। यह कहना है जिला कलक्टर  प्रकाश राजपुरोहित का। जिला कलक्टर ने हर महीने रेस्क्यू किये गए 100 भिखारियों को रोजगार मुहैया करवाने के निर्देश दिये हैं। कलक्टर राजपुरोहित के निर्देश पर अतिरिक्त जिला कलक्टर (दक्षिण) मोहम्मद अबूबक्र की अगुवाई में जयपुर जिले में अभियान का सफल क्रियान्वयन किया जा रहा है।

अबूबक्र ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत की बजट घोषणा की अनुपालना में चलाये जा रहे भिक्षावृत्ति मुक्त अभियान के तहत जयपुर जिले में कुल 390 भिखारियों को रेस्क्यू किया गया है। अभियान के अगले चरण में जिला प्रशासन रेस्क्यू किये गए भिखारियों को कौशल प्रशिक्षण के बाद गौशालाओं, मंदिर प्रबंधन समिति तथा अन्य कार्य स्थलों पर नियमित रोजगार मुहैया करवाया जा रहा है। अभी तक रेस्क्यू किये गए 22 भिखारियों को रोजगार उपलब्ध करवाया गया है।

अभियान के तहत भिखारियों को रेस्क्यू के बाद पुनर्वास के लिए 4 पुनर्वास केन्द्रों को चिन्हित किया गया है। केन्द्रों पर आवश्यक व्यवस्थाओं, सुरक्षा संबंधी सहायता एवं निरीक्षण के लिए अधिकारियों और कार्मिकों को पाबंद किया गया है। साथ ही, इन केन्द्रों के सफल संचालन के लिए कलक्टर महोदय की अध्यक्षता में गठित जिला स्तरीय समिति द्वारा 4 स्वयंसेवी संस्थाओं का चयन किया गया है।

उल्लेखनीय है कि अभियान के तहत 14 नवम्बर, 2022 से जयपुर शहर के मुख्य चौराहों पर दो सप्ताह तक सलाह एवं परामर्श कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया, जिसमें आमजन एवं भिखारियों से समझाइश की गई। 16 दिसम्बर, 2022 से जिला प्रशासन, पुलिस एवं स्वयं सेवी संस्थाओं के माध्यम से भिखारियों को रेस्क्यू कर पुनर्वास केन्द्रों पर भेजा गया, जहां पर इनकी प्राथमिक जांच के उपरान्त आधारभूत सुविधाएं उपलब्ध करवायी जा रही है।

Employment will be provided to 100 beggars every month in Jaipur district - District Collector

 390 beggars were rescued, so far 22 ‘jobs’ – Gehlot Government

Jaipur(Rajasthan )- Jaipur District Collector Prakash Rajpurohit told that he has instructed the administration to provide employment to 100 rescued beggars every month. On the instructions of the Collector, the successful implementation of the campaign is being done in Jaipur district under the leadership of Additional District Collector (South) Mohammad Abubakr.

A total of 390 beggars were rescued in Jaipur district.

ADM Abubakr said that a total of 390 beggars have been rescued in Jaipur district under the begging free campaign being run in compliance with the budget announcement of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. In the next phase of the campaign, the rescued beggars will be provided regular employment at Gaushalas, Temple Management Committee and other work places after skill development and training. So far 22 rescued beggars have been provided employment.

Four voluntary organizations are responsible for rehabilitation

Under the campaign, 4 rehabilitation centers have been identified for re-establishment of beggars after rescue. Officers and employees have been restricted for necessary arrangements, security related assistance and inspection at the centres. Along with this, the District Level Committee constituted under the chairmanship of the Collector has selected 4 voluntary organizations for the successful operation of these centres.

All basic facilities are available after rescuing beggars

Under the campaign, from November 14, 2022, a two-week advice and counseling program was conducted at the main intersections of Jaipur city. In which the general public and beggars were consulted. From December 16, 2022, the beggars were rescued and sent to rehabilitation centers through the district administration, police and voluntary organizations, where basic facilities are being provided after their preliminary examination.
