झालावाड़-24 जुलाई। बारिश के मौसम की शुरूआत के साथ ही शनिवार को झालावाड़ जिला कलक्टर हरिमोहन मीना ने आज चँवली डेम का जायजा लिया।इस दौरान कलक्टर के  साथ जल संसाधन विभाग के अधिकारी भी मौजूद थे।

 कलेक्टर मीणा ने अधिकारियों से डेम की भराव क्षमता के बारे में जानकारी ली और  इसके मेंटिनेंस पर चर्चा की।

   गौरतलब है कि एक दिन पूर्व क्षेत्र में जोरदार बारिश हुई थी। वही चँवली नदी पर बने डेम में इस बार नदियों के जोड़ने वाली योजना के अंतर्गत  चवली डेम में आहु नदी की लिंक नहर का पानी इसमे मिलेगा जिससे इस बार डेम में भरपूर पानी आएगा व भराव क्षमता को पार करेगा। ऐसी उम्मीद क्षेत्र वासियो सहित किसानों व जिला प्रशासन को है।

वही इस डेम से किसानों को सिचाई के अलावा पेयजल सप्लाई भी होती है। कई सालों से चँवली डेम पूरा नही भर पाता था लेकिन इस बार आहु नदी से निकाली गई लिंक नहर का पानी इस डेम में मिल पायेगा जिससे क्षेत्रवासियों में खुशी की लहर है।

आपको बता दें कि राजस्थान के चेरापूंजी कहलाये जाने वाले झालावाड़ जिले में पिछले दो दिन से भारी बारिश हो रही है। जिले के पिड़ावा उपखंड इलाके में 4 घंटे तक जमकर पानी बरसा।  भारी बारिश होने से पिड़ावा के पास बहने वाली चंवली नदी में भारी उफान आने से कई गांवों का आपस में संपर्क कट गया।  इतना ही नहीं,उफान का पानी पिड़ावा कस्बे में जा घुसा।

  प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार इस बारिश के बाद चंवली नदी के डैम में 16.96 मिलीयन घन मीटर पानी की आवक हुई है। 

बाजारों, कस्बे के चैराहों, सड़कों, सरकारी कार्यालयों और स्कूलों में पानी भर गया।  नीचली बस्तियों के घरों और दुकानों में चंवली नदी का पानी जा घुसा। ऐसे बाढ़ जैसे हालातों में जनजीवन अस्तव्यस्त हो गया। घरों और दुकानों में रखा सामान बाढ़ का पानी घुसने से खराब हो गया। यहां बाढ़ के हालात से लोगों का काफी ज्यादा आर्थिक नुकसान हुआ है।

 Jhalawar - July 24.  With the onset of the rainy season, Jhalawar District Collector Harimohan Meena took stock of the Chawli Dam on Saturday. During this, officers of the Water Resources Department were also present along with the Collector.

  Collector Meena took information from the officials about the filling capacity of the dam and discussed its maintenance.

    It is worth noting that a day earlier there was heavy rain in the area.  In the same dam built on the river Chawli, this time under the scheme of interlinking of rivers, the water of the link canal of Ahu river in Chawli dam will be found in it, due to which this time there will be plenty of water in the dam and will cross the filling capacity.  Such hope is for the farmers and the district administration, including the residents of the area. The same dam provides drinking water to the farmers besides irrigation.  For many years, the Chawli Dam could not be filled completely, but this time the water of the link canal taken out from the Ahu river will be available in this dam, due to which there is a wave of happiness among the residents of the area.

  Let us tell you that Jhalawar district, which is called Cherrapunji of Rajasthan, has been raining heavily for the last two days.  It rained heavily for 4 hours in the Pirawa subdivision area of ​​the district.  Due to heavy rains, due to heavy surge in the river Chanwli flowing near Pirawa, many villages were cut off from each other.  Not only this, the water of the boom entered the town of Pirawa.

   According to the information received, after this rain, 16.96 million cubic meters of water has arrived in the dam of the Chanwli river.

 Markets, town squares, roads, government offices and schools were flooded.  The water of the river Chanwli entered the houses and shops of the low-lying settlements.  In such flood-like conditions, life came to a standstill.  Goods kept in houses and shops got damaged due to the ingress of flood water.  There has been a lot of economic loss to the people due to the flood situation here.
